Hey Everyone! So not a lot has happened this week. But This computer is letting me upload pics this time! Yay! So I will show you stuff from last week!
This is when we went to the Mexico Templo:This is Hermana Greenhalgh then me then HJ.
This is when we went to the Mexico Templo:This is Hermana Greenhalgh then me then HJ.
HJ and me.
This photo is my whole district.... we weren´t quite ready for that photo. lol
These are their panic squares I was telling you about:
These are the houses that they have on Temple grounds that they will be using for families that travel a long ways to see the temple. (it was also where the missionaries stayed when this was the MTC here)
These are my friends that left a few weeks ago: Elder John: (He´s in Honduras right now)
Elder Favila: (it wouldn´t let me make it bigger. :( This is like my fav elder ever!)
Elder Sanchez: (My teacher´s brother) I miss them all like mad! They were way cool! Braxton and his awesome district leave this Tuesday. So it´ll be quiet around here without them. :/
This is Elder Christensen. He´s in the district we arrived with. I met him in the SLC airport and we´ve been super good friends ever since then. His comp Elder Foss is the coolest as well. But I don´t have a pic with him yet. They will be coming soon. :)
This is my casa:
This is the view from my casa:
And the random Lego hands: (we have no idea why they´re here... we don´t know what they are.)
So I just had to stop my email to run out to the panic circle again. We just went through another earthquake! yay! haha This time Braxton and I got to experience it together since we´re emailing next to each other. Pretty cool stuff. This one was short but shook a lot harder than the first a few weeks ago. I´ll find out later today what magnitude it was. haha Awesome stuff!
Anyways I don´t have much to say about this week. We didn´t get to teach a lot. We went on splits last night to teach each other. That was weird. It made me miss my comp a lot. We teach really well compared to how we teach with other people. We had a great devotional by Elder Holland on both Sunday and Tuesday. He´s so funny! We all love him! Our investigadores are doing well. Abraham is coming along really well. He´s doing everything he´s supposed to do. I can´t wait for him to be baptized! The 12th is only a few days away! yay! Also Carlos got baptized on the 20th. I forgot to tell you guys that! So he´s doing well. Eduardo is doing well. He´s been taking the discussions very seriously with his family. He will be baptized on the 11th. And Adrian is doing well. He can´t wait for his baptism and he wants us to share the gospel with his sister. So hopefully we get to meet with her on Monday. :)
TALL is getting easier. Finally! I´m ahead of schedule... so that´s always a good sign. The food here is getting worse. lol I´m really just craving a good cheeseburger... haha 1 of the Hermana´s and I have been hitting the gym everyday. We´ve been lifting. We´re sooo sore! haha But we´re in pretty good shape now. My district and I are going to be singing next Sunday at the devotional. (they voted without me and gave me a solo. :/ I guess I should stop singing when I´m studying. Everyone always wants me to sing for them. Super weird.) Since it´ll be our last week here. :( Only 1 more week! It´s both exciting and nerve-wracking! Then I´ll be in Ecuador!
Well that´s it for this week. i hope you´re all doing well! Remember, we´re on the climb to eternal happiness. So strap on your hiking boots and get to it. Only rest to pray! I love you all and miss your faces! Until next Thursday...
